As a Legislative Assistant at Mehlman Castagnetti Rosen & Thomas, Madison Hubbard supports the firm’s Democratic team and works with clients to execute their strategic long- and short-term goals in Washington. She handles daily scheduling operations, preparing background materials on legislative priorities, managing coalitions, and organizing panels, and fly-ins. She also handles Democratic fundraising and special events.

Prior to joining Mehlman Castagnetti, Madison worked at an international investigative firm where she supported the executive team in business development and client management. Prior to that, Madison served as a Congressional Intern to Congresswoman Debbie Dingell (D-MI-12) where she assisted legislative staff primarily on topics such as international human rights, the multi-employer pension crisis, natural disasters, and women’s issues.

Madison graduated from the James Madison College at Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and Social Relations and Policy. While at Michigan State, she specialized Civil Rights, spending a semester in Washington, DC at the US Commission on Civil Rights as a Civil Rights Analyst Intern. Most notably, she contributed to the 2017 Statutory Enforcement Report to the Executive Leadership on targeted fines and fees.
